One of the best months to visit Vietnam!
With heaps of sunshine, clear skies, hot and dry weather from north to south April is the perfect month to experience Vietnam at its absolute best even though temperature is on the rise, especially at the end of the month.

North Vietnam
April marks the end of spring time in the north with hot, dry weather and temperature on the rise.

Hanoi: Dry, comfortably hot weather

Ha Long: With lots of sunshine, clear skies and comfortably hot weather, Ha Long is glorious in April. The weather is not only perfect for cruising, swimming and kayaking, but also for photo opportunities!

Sapa: With clear skies, lots of sunshine and cool temperature April is the perfect time to visit Sapa, especially if you plan to do some trekking trips (which is highly advisable!)

Mai Chau: Very pleasant weather with a lot of sunny days. Excellent weather for trekking trips with soothing greens everywhere!

Central Vietnam

Central Vietnam is well in dry season in April. Hot, sunny weather  with clear skies makes this an ideal time to visit.

Hue: dry, sunny & hot weather. A great time of the year to visit the royal tombs, mossy pagodas and monasteries that Hue is famous for!

Hoi An: dry, sunny and pleasant weather. April is a great time to visit the enchanting old town of Hoi An as its one of the driest months of the year.

Nha Trang: hot, sunny weather throughout the whole of April makes Nha Trang an attractive option for a beach break in central Vietnam.

Da Lat: warm, pleasant weather during the day and chilly at night.

South Vietnam

April marks the last month for dry season in the south. Blue skies, sunshine and comfortably hot weather makes it ideal for walking trips, city tours or cruise trips. The beaches of Phu Quoc, Mui Ne and Con Dao are at still their best before the wet season kicks in.

Ho Chi Minh City:  Hot, sunny weather during the day. Nights and early mornings are cooler with lower humidity.

Mekong Delta: hot, sunny weather with cool river breeze at night.

Phu Quoc: Hot, sunny with blue skies! The beach is calm and clear, ideal weather for a beach break!

Con Dao: Hot, sunny with blue skies with calm sea. Perfect weather for a beach break.
